Who build RFBR rifle based to Fortner straight-pull action?

Just talked with our Lapua Test Center keeper Mr Sivula. He make batch tests to hundreds of different 22 LR rifle / year with or without owners.

I asked how those Fortner actioned Biathlon rifles has worked in his tests. He said also in this year there has been few what has shooted in 2 x 10 shot group tests to 50 meter both groups between 10-11 mm outside to outside measured.(0,39"-0,43").

On I.R.50/50 game gun is on sand bags and straigh-pull dont twist RF like tradional action is making.

And also thinking that those tested biathlon RF.s dont have Shilen or Muller barrels, chambers are not RFBR chambers, and they have magazine "holes".

I dont know are those Fortner actions with barrel screw thread and are they available without magazine "hole" but all this thinking gives idea that maybe it is time to give a try to this one.

Nice to hear that now we find first brave man: Uli.

One gunsmith here mentioned also about that cleaning is not so easy to Fortner.

Timo. Couple of us in the states swimming upstream with Fortners. A very nice threaded action 1727F BR Ratchet in WA State and a F27A single shot Fortner in VA.

F27A at 10 shot National weekend.

F27 needs better driver. Especially outdoors! No kind words for factory bore guide.

Big fan of you and Pedro.
